Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC 10 to your computer via USB
    2. At the prompt, enable “Media device (MTP)” or “File Transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the “notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on your PC and copy them
    5. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Tap “Personalize” and tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”

Set a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone storage.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “People”
    3. Select the desired contact
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “Apply”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Tap “Sound & notifications”
    4. Tap “Notification sound”
    5. Select the audio file you want to use for notification alerts
    6. Tap “Apply”
