    Switch to 2G Connectivity:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G connectivity.

    1. Go to the “Settings” menu
    2. Under “Wireless & networks”, tap “More”

    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Under “Personal”, tap “Accounts”
    4. Select an account type and clear the check boxes associated with the sync options you want to disable

    Minimize Third Party App Usage:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Apps”
    3. Go to “Downloaded”
    4. Select the desired application and tap “Force stop” / “Disable” to turn off the app
    5. To remove the app from the phone, tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Scroll to and tap “About phone”
