Back Up App / Account Data:

1. Open the apps drawer on the home screen
2. Launch “Settings”
3. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset”
4. To back up Wi-Fi passwords, account data, and settings to your Google account, enable “Back up my data”
5. To allow app / account data to be automatically restored upon reinstalling apps, enable “Automatic Restore”

NOTE: Account settings and data will be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

Back Up Contacts:

1. Go to “Settings”
2. Access “Accounts”
3. Select an account type
4. Select the desired account to sync the contacts with
5. Make sure “Contacts” is enabled
6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

1. Connect the BLU Studio Touch to your computer using the USB cord
2. When prompted, enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, or enable the option from the “Notification” area
3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
6. After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Restore Media Files from Windows Computer:

1. Connect the BLU Studio Touch to your computer via USB
2. At the prompt, enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, otherwise turn the option On from the “Notification” area
3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups
4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port
