Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can use the app to sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

1. Launch iTunes on the computer
2. Connect the iPhone to the computer using the Lightning cable
3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With”
5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
6. Sign in with the desired Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
8. Once the sync is done, switch to the Galaxy Note 7 and sign in with the same Google account
9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection, and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts”
4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings”
5. Select “Export vCard”
6. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
   
   • Import the vCard via “Google Contacts” or:
   • Connect the Galaxy Note 7 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

1. Open the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
2. Open the app
3. Tap “Backup” and wait for the backup file to be created
4. Once done, tap “Email”
5. Make sure the vCard backup file is attached to the email
6. Send the email to your own address
7. Switch to the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and open the email
8. Download the vCard attachment and use “Contacts” to import it

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, for both iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files cross platform, without requiring a PC.

1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
3. Launch the app on both smartphones
4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. For instance, you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Samsung phone’s camera, or you can tap “Receive” on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and enter the code generated on the iPhone to begin the transfer
