    Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Tap “Mobile data” > “Network mode”
    3. Tap “GSM only” to switch to 2G networks only

    Minimize Third Party Applications Usage:

NOTE: Certain third party apps can perform regular background processes, and thus they can affect battery life even when they are not in use. By removing or disabling unused third party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Phone”

    2. Tap “Accounts & sync”
    3. Select an app to change its sync settings
    4. For additional sync options, select an account

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Phone”
    3. Tap “About” > “Software information”
    4. Tap “Check now” and if applicable, follow the on-screen prompts to download and install any available updates on your phone
