    Turn On Device Lock:

    1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Scroll to and tap “Display
    4. Tap “Lock screen” > “Select lock screen
    5. Select the desired lock screen options and follow the on-screen steps to complete the setup

    Change Device Lock Passwords:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Tap “Display” > “Lock screen
    3. Tap “Select lock screen” > “password
    4. Enter the new password and tap “Continue
    5. Enter the password again for confirmation and tap “OK

    Change Device Lock PIN:

    1. Open “Settings” and tap “Display
    2. Tap “Lock screen” > “Select screen lock
    3. Choose “PIN” and if necessary, enter your current lock screen password / PIN etc.
    4. Enter the desired PIN
    5. Tap “Continue” and enter the PIN again to confirm
    6. Tap “OK

    Disable the Lock Screen:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Display” and tap “Lock screen
    3. Tap “Select screen lock
    4. Choose “None
    5. If necessary, enter your current PIN / password to confirm

    Enable / Disable Emergency Alerts:

    1. Open “Messaging
    2. Tap “Menu” and access “Settings
    3. Scroll to “Advanced settings” and tap “More
    4. Tap “Emergency alerts
    5. Disable or enable “Imminent severe alerts”, “Imminent extreme alerts” and / or “AMBER alerts

    NOTE: Presidential alerts are enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
