    Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG V20 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media device (MTP)” when prompted or at the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on your PC storage and copy them
    5. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notification” folders
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port

    Change the Ringtone for All Calls:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access the “Sound & notification” tab
    3. Tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the ringtone you wish to use
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Changing Email Notification Alerts:

    1. Tap “Email” on the home screen
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Select the “email” account
    4. Scroll to “Notification Settings” and clear or check the “Notifications” check box
    5. Tap “Notification sound” and select the desired audio loop
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm the changes

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Open “Messaging”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings”
    4. Tap “More” under “General”
    5. Tap “Emergency alerts” and clear or tick the check boxes associated with “Imminent extreme alert”, “Imminent severe alert” and / or “AMBER alert”

    NOTE: Presidential alerts are enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
