    Back Up App Data:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Access the General tab
    3. Tap Backup & reset
    4. Enable Back up my data

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Access the General tab
    3. Tap Backup & reset
    4. Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
    5. Tap Back up data and make sure LG Cloud is enabled
    6. If prompted, log in with your LG Account
    7. Select Personal data and deselect all the other options
    8. Expand the Personal data option and make sure Contacts is enabled
    9. Tap Start to begin the backup
    10. Once the backup is complete, tap Done

    Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:

    1. Open Settings
    2. From the General tab, tap Backup & reset
    3. Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
    4. Tap Back up data and enable SD Card
    5. Select the items you want to back up and tap Start
    6. After the process is complete, tap Done

    Back Up Media Files on the Phone:

    1. Launch Settings
    2. From the General tab, tap Backup & reset
    3. Tap LG Backup
    4. Tap Backup & restore
    5. Select Media data and deselect the non-media options
    6. Expand the Media data folder and select the media files you want to back up
    7. Tap Start and wait for the process to complete
    8. Tap Done

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG V20 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable Media sync (MTP) / File Transfer (MTP) at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the desired media files, or .sbf backup files on the phone storage
    5. Copy the desired files and transfer them in your backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
