Sync iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG X Max.

    1. Launch iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB (using the Lightning cable)
    3. Once it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes and access “Info”
    4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
    7. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and register the same Google account used in iTunes
    8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on iCloud, you can access your iCloud account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Access “Contacts”
    4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings”
    5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the vCard to be downloaded on the PC
    6. Once the vCard is downloaded, follow one of these two steps:
      • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
      • Connect the LG X Max to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, alternatively you can share iPhone contact using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
    3. After the backup file is done, tap “Email”
    4. Ensure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
    5. Switch to the LG X Max, open the email, and download the vCard
    6. Launch “Contacts” and import the vCard to your phonebook

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for transferring contacts is Send Anywhere. The app works on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types without a computer.

    1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
    2. Install the same app on the LG device via the Google Play Store
    3. Open the app on both handsets
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
    5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send” again
    6. Lastly, choose a transfer method and follow the on-screen steps to complete the transfer
