    Turn On Device Lock:

    1. While on the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
    2. Go to “Settings” and scroll to and tap “Display”
    3. Tap “Lock screen” > “Select lock screen”
    4. Choose the lock screen options you want to set
    5. Follow the on-screen steps to set the desired lock screen option

    Change Device Lock PIN:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Display” > “Lock Screen”
    3. Tap “Select screen lock” and choose “PIN”
    4. Enter the new PIN and tap “Continue”
    5. Enter the new PIN again for confirmation and tap “OK”

    Change Device Lock Password:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Tap “Display”
    3. Go to “Lock screen” and tap “Select lock screen”
    4. Choose “Password” and enter the new password
    5. Tap “Continue” and enter the password again for confirmation
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Disable the Lock Screen:

    1. Access “Settings”
    2. Tap “Display”
    3. Go to “Lock screen” > “Select screen lock”
    4. Choose “None”
    5. Enter your current PIN / password to confirm

    Turn Emergency Alerts On or Off:

    1. Launch the “Messaging” application
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Go to “Advanced settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “Emergency alerts”
    5. Enable or disable “Imminent extreme alerts”, “Imminent severe alerts” and / or “AMBER alerts”

    NOTE: Presidential alerts are enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
