    Back Up Application Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data”

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Backup & restore”
    5. Tap “Back up my data” and enable “LG Cloud”
    6. If prompted, sign in with your LG account
    7. Select “Personal data” and turn off the other options
    8. Expand “Personal data” and make sure “Contacts” is checked
    9. Tap “Start” to begin the backup
    10. When finished, tap “Done”

    Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Backup & restore” > “Back up data” and enable “SD Card”
    5. Select the items you want to back up and tap “Start”
    6. When completed, tap “Done”

    Back Up Media Files on the Phone:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Backup & restore” and select “Media data” while making sure non media options are deselected
    5. Expand “Media data” and choose the media files you want to back up
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. After the process is complete, tap “Done”

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG Tribute HD to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the desired media files (or “.sbf” backup file) on your phone storage
    5. Copy the files and paste them in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and you can safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
