    NOTE: You can visit this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files on the LG Tribute HD.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Locate the select the desired backup
    6. Tap “Start” > “Done

    NOTE: You may have to reboot your phone to complete the restore.

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Select the SD card backup you want to restore and tap “Start
    6. After the process is complete, tap “Done” (NOTE: you may have to reboot your device to complete the restore)

    Restore Media Files from Phone Storage:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Tap “Backup & reset
    3. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    4. Select the media backup files you want to restore and tap “Start
    5. After the process is done, tap “Restart” to reboot the device

    Restore Media Files from a Computer:

    1. Connect the LG Tribute HD to your computer via USB
    2. Turn on “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media file backups on the PC storage and copy them
    5. Transfer the backup files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories they originate from
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
