    Back Up Application Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data and settings to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Tap the account type and account you want to sync contacts with
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be restored automatically upon signing in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the XOLO Era 2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Using the Explorer, locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy the media files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the XOLO Era 2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer and locate the media file backups on the computer storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    6. You can now safely disconnect the device from the USB port
