Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the HTC Bolt to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” directories
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Go to “Personalize” and tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “Apply”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “People”
    3. Select the desired contact and tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “Apply” to confirm

    Change the Notification Alert Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Sounds & Notifications”
    3. Tap “Notification sound”
    4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “Apply” to confirm
