    Back Up App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the account type and account you want to use for syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary, then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the BLU Studio G Max to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and use the Explorer to locate the media files on the phone
    4. Copy the media files and transfer them in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU Studio G Max to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage and copy them
    5. Transfer the files on the phone storage, in the “Media” directory or preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    7. Safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
