    Back Up App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to allow app data and settings to be backed up to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data and settings to be automatically restored when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the account type and account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary and tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Archos to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the media files on the phone and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer storage
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Archos 55 Helium Ultra to your computer via USB
    2. Turn on “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the computer storage
    5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, in the “Media” directory or preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
