    Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB
    2. Turn on “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MPT)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” directories
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: Skip the first 3 steps if Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac and head down to Kies Support
    2. Click “Kies 3 for Mac”
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install Kies on the Mac
    4. Connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB
    5. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” on the phone, when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac and click the “Folder” icon associated with “External memory” or “Internal memory”
    7. Open the File Finder on the Mac and locate the desired audio files on the Mac storage
    8. Drag and drop the files in Kies to begin the transfer
    9. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage by dragging and dropping the phone’s virtual drive from the desktop and into the “Trash can”

    Add Audio Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sounds and ringtones”
    3. Tap “Ringtones and sounds” > “Ringtone”
    4. Tap “Add ringtone” and select “Sound picker”
    5. Choose to use the sound picker “Always” or “Just once”
    6. Select the desired audio files and tap “Done”

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Launch “settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sounds and notifications”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtone and sounds”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Press “Back” to confirm

    Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
    3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    4. Tap “OK” > “Save”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notifications”
    3. Tap “Ringtones and sound” under “Sounds”
    4. Select the notification type and the desired notification sound to use
    5. Tap “Back” to confirm
