    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords, and settings etc. to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the account you want to sync contacts with
    5. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore contacts backed up using this method the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Kyocera device and computer
    2. Turn ON “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Kyocera DuraForce Pro to your computer via USB
    2. Turn “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
