    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings” and scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Turn “Back up my data” ON to back up app data, settings etc. to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Tap an account type and select the account you want to sync contacts with
    4. Tick “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: To restore contacts backed up using the method above, sign in with the same Google backup account and set it to sync contacts with your phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the BLU Life Max to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media files on the phone storage
    5. Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer storage
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the BLU Life Max and computer
    2. Turn “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer storage and copy them
    5. Paste the files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories they originate from
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
