    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings” and scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Turn “Back up my data” ON to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, settings etc. to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the account you want to use for contact syncing
    5. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Acer Liquid Z6 to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files on your phone
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the phone to your PC via USB
    2. Turn On “File Transfer (MTP)” / “Media Device (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    4. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory (or the folders they originate from)
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
