    Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB
    2. Turn On “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy and paste the desired audio files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folder(s)
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: If Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac, skip the first 2 steps below.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac and visit Kies Support
    2. Click “Kies 3 for Mac” to download and install Kies on the Mac
    3. Connect the Samsung phone to your Mac via USB
    4. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    5. Open Kies on the Mac
    6. In Kies, click the “Folder” icon next to “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    7. Open the File Finder on the Mac and locate the desired audio files on the Mac storage
    8. Drag and drop the files inside Kies to begin the transfer
    9. Once done, eject the phone storage by dragging and dropping the virtual drive from the desktop and into the “Trash can”

    Assign Audio Files to the List of Ringtones:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds and ringtones”
    4. Tap “Ringtones and sounds” > “Ringtone”
    5. Tap “Add ringtone”
    6. Select “Sound picker” and choose to use the option “Always” or “Just once”
    7. Select the desired audio files and tap “Done”

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds and notifications”
    4. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtones and sounds”
    5. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “Back” to confirm

    Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact Only:

    NOTE: Custom contact ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Tap the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” and go to “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    5. Tap “Save” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds & notifications”
    4. Tap “Ringtones and sound” under “Sounds”
    5. Select a notification type and the desired notification sound
    6. Tap “Back” to confirm
