Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device (MTP)” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. On the computer, launch the File Explorer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
    4. Copy and paste the desired files one the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folders in the “Media” directory
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

NOTE: If Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac, you should skip the first 3 steps below.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Go to Kies Support
    3. Click “Kies 3 for Mac” to download and install Kies on the Mac
    4. Connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB
    5. Enable “Media device” when prompted or from the “notification” area
    6. On the Mac, launch Kies
    7. In Kies, click the “Folder” icon associated with “External memory” or “Internal memory”
    8. Launch the File Explorer on the Mac and locate the desired audio files
    9. Drag the files from the computer storage and drop them inside Kies to begin the transfer
    10. Once done, drag the phone storage from the desktop and drop it into the “Trash can” to eject it
    11. You can now safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Tap “Sounds and notifications” under “Sound and Display”
    4. Tap “Ringtones” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Under “Sound and Display”, tap “Sounds and notifications”
    3. Tap “Notifications”
    4. Select the desired notification sound
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
