    NOTE: For instructions on how to back up app data, contacts and media files, visit this thread.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start”
    6. Tap “Done”

    NOTE: You may have to reboot your phone for the restore to complete.

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and select the SD card backup file you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: You may need to reboot your phone to complete the process.

    Restore Media Files From Phone Storage:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and select the media file backups you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start”
    7. When prompted with “Restore completed”, tap “Restart”

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG device and computer
    2. Turn ON “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the backup or “.sbf” files you wish to restore
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and then you can safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
