    NOTE: For instructions on how to back up app data, contacts and media files, visit this thread.

    Restore Application Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to the “General” tab and tap “Backup & Reset
    3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup
    4. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start
    5. Tap “Done” to confirm

    NOTE: you may have to reboot your phone to complete the process.

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup
    5. Select the desired contact backup file from the SD card and tap “Start
    6. When finished tap “Done

    Restore Media Files from Phone Storage:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. If necessary, access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Locate and select the media file backups you wish to restore
    6. Tap “Start
    7. At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired backup or “.sbf” backup files you want to restore
    5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
