There was no data stored on an sd card?

I have a LG k7 cell phone that the screen was totally smashed and actually the screen popped out of the phone after it was smashed.
I am needing to get a few files off the phone onto my PC. I connected the phone to my PC via USB Cable


and the phone beeps when connecting the cable to it but I don't see anything on the PC.

How can I see the phone on the computer without touching the phone. (because the screen is smashed and not connected)

Anyone that have any ideas would be appreciated very much. My direct email is a gmail account at 'randyc1217'
