    Back Up Application Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” and enable “Back up my data”

    Back Up Contacts on the SD Card:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Backup & restore” > “Back up data”
    5. Tap “SD Card” and select the contact you wish to back up
    6. Tap “Start” and at the “Backup completed” prompt, tap “Done”

    Back Up Contacts on an LG Account:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Backup & restore” > “Back up data”
    5. Select “LG Cloud” and sign in with your LG account
    6. Enable “Personal data” while disabling the other options
    7. Expand “Personal data” and enable “Contacts” if needed
    8. Tap “Start” to begin the process
    9. At the “Backup completed” pop-up, tap “Done”

    Back Up Media Files on the Phone Storage:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “General” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & Restore”
    4. Enable “Media data” and disable the other options
    5. Tap “Start” > “Done”

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG K3 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Use the Explorer to locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    7. You can now safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
