I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I just want to ask a bit of a nerdy question.

I am a huge fan of The Matrix films. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a current phone or case that is in anyway similar to the phone used in that film? The spring-loaded opening mechanism.

I rarely use my phone, as I am surrounded by iDevices and wifi all day, so features of the phone beyond making calls are not really a concern. I bought my current phone (a nokia 2220) and my decision was largely influenced by the slider opening design being somewhat close to The Matrix phone.

However that phone is now close to a decade old and in rough shape. Is there any phone on the market that would be a good replacement?

Alternatively, what about cases for smartphones? Are there any cases which can replicate the opening mechanism?
