    Back Up App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your Google account
    5. To allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account, enable “Automatic restore”

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the desired account type
    4. Tap an account to sync contacts with
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your Google account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Plum Compass to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files form a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Plum Compass to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the media file backups on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) from which they originate
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
