Sync iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Alcatel A3.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Launch iTunes and click the iPhone
    3. Access the “Info” section and enable “Sync Contacts With
    4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu and sign in with your Google account
    5. Click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
    7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Alcatel A3 and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
    8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been backed up to your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
    4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of these steps:
      • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the Alcatel to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it using “Contacts

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
    2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
    3. After the backup is done, tap “Email
    4. Compose a new email and ensure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    6. Switch to the Alcatel A3 and open the email
    7. Download the vCard attachment and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use for contact transfer is Send Anywhere. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Alcatel A3
    3. Launch the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
