I just switched to Metro after Family Mobile sold us out to Tracfone and a year's worth of them was a nightmare that made me overcome my fear of getting something worse if I switched. They gave me a Galaxy J3 Prime .. it seems to be okay .. I had an LG optimus L9 with Family Mobile .. my problem is this .. the call list of each contact ALSO includes our texts exchange .. in the case of my boyfriend and I, you can see why this is not acceptable.. how do I get it to stop doing so? I really do not want to have to delete our texts as soon as I read or send the private ones so what can I do instead ? Thank you for your time and assistance.

Block Calls:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Block number” and follow one of the steps below:
   
   • To block a phone number: enter it and make sure the “match criteria” is set to “default”
   • To block a phone number / contact from the phonebook / logs: tap “Contacts”, go to “Logs” or “Contacts” and select the phone number / contact you want to block
   • To block unknown numbers: tap the “Block anonymous calls” slider to “ON”

Unblock Calls:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Block numbers”
4. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the contact / phone number you want to unblock

Block Messages From Settings:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Block messages” and enable the option
4. Tap “Block list” or “Block number”
5. Enter the phone number you want to block and tap “+”, or select a number to block from “Contacts” or “Inbox”
6. Tap “Back” to confirm

Block Messages From a Message Thread:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Select the conversation thread exchanged with the number you want to block
3. Tap “Menu” > “Block number”
4. Tap “Message block” and set the slider “ON”
5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Unblock Messages from Settings:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tick the “Block messages” check box
4. Tap “Block list” / “Block number”
5. Tap the “-“ symbol associated with the phone number you want to unblock
6. Tap “Back” to confirm

Unblock Messages from a Conversation Thread:

1. Launch “Messages”
2. Tap the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number you want to unblock
3. Tap “Menu” > “Block number”
4. Tap “Message block” and set the slider “OFF”
5. Tap “OK” to confirm

Enable Call Forwarding:

1. Open “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “More settings” > “Call forwarding”
4. Tap “Always forward” and enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
5. Tap “Turn ON” to confirm

Manage Conditional Call Forwarding:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “More settings”
4. Go to “Call forwarding”
5. Select to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unanswered” or “Forward when unreachable”
6. Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
7. Tap “Turn ON” to confirm

Disable Call Forwarding:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
3. Tap “More settings”
4. Go to “Call forwarding”
5. Tap “Always forward” > “Turn OFF” to confirm
