    Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on the PC
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folder(s)
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

    NOTE: Skip the first 3 steps below if Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Visit http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/kies
    3. Click “Download for Mac” and follow the on-screen steps to install “Kies” on the Mac
    4. Connect the Samsung device to your Mac via USB and enable “File Transfer”
    5. Launch Kies, click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    6. Launch the File Finder on the Mac and locate the desired audio files
    7. Drag and drop the files inside Kies to begin the transfer
    8. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and dropping it into the “Trash Can”
    9. Safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Assign Audio Files to the Ringtone List:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds & Notifications”
    4. Under “Sounds”, tap “Ringtones and sounds”
    5. Tap “Ringtone”
    6. Tap “Add ringtone” and select “Sound picker”
    7. Choose “Always” or “Just once”
    8. Select the audio files you want to add to the ringtone list
    9. Tap “Done” to confirm

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sounds & Notifications”
    4. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtone & sound”
    5. Tap “Ringtone”
    6. Select the desired ringtone
    7. Press “Back” to confirm

    Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” > “Save”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Sounds & Notifications”
    3. Tap “Ringtones and sounds”
    4. Select a notification type and the desired notification sound
    5. Tap “Back” to confirm
