    Back Up App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings” and scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account or when reinstalling aps

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Select the desired account type and account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts backed up using this method the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU R1 Plus to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU R1 Plus to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Transfer the backup files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folder(s) they originate from
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
