    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer and launch “Settings
    2. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal
    3. To back up app data, Wi-Fi password, and settings to your Google account, enable “Back up my data
    4. To allow app data to be restored automatically when signing in with your backup account or when reinstalling apps, enable “Automatic Restore

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is checked and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts automatically the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Panasonic Eluga Ray to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy the media files and paste them in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Panasonic device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directory from which they originate
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
