    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Power”
    4. Tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, settings etc. to your Google account
    6. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when signing in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select the desired account and make sure “Contacts” is checked
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / ‘File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Use the Explorer to locate and copy the media files on your phone
    5. Transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer”/”Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media backup files on the PC storage
    5. Paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directory they originate from
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
