    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and Settings to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically upon reinstalling or when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and tap the desired account for contact syncing
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your Google backup account and/or by syncing the contacts on the account with your smartphone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU Studio J2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the BLU Studio J2 to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the backup files on the phone storage, in the “Media” folder or preferably in the directories from where they originate
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    7. You can safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
