    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts Using an Account:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Enable “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored when signing up with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files on the phone storage
    4. Copy and transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax device to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directory from which they originate
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
