    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Turn “Back up my data” ON to back up Wi-Fi passwords, settings, and app data to your Google backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically upon reinstalling apps or when you sign in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts Using an Account:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Tap an account type and the desired account
    4. If necessary, enable “Contacts”
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using the method above can be restored automatically when signing in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Archos 50 Graphite to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    4. Copy and transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folders of origin
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
