    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and app data to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data and settings to be restored automatically when signing in with your Google backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts on an Account:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account and enable “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically when signing in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and paste the media files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Archos 50 Saphir to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directories from where the files originate
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the USB cord
