One thing that's noticable is the Convoy 3 turn on time is fast - along with the power down time, comparatively, the Casio G'zone Rock is a snail.

Got my Convoy 3, activated it, and it's alright. Not as robust as my ole Casio g'zone rock. We'll see how long the 1300 mAh battery lasts.

I was just looking for a replacement phone for my Casio G'zone Rock. I picked the Convoy 3 due to it's styling and 1300 mAh battery. I handled a Convoy 4 the other day and it is noticeable thicker and heavier (specs below match the Convoy 3 nicely with the G'zone Rock - a tad thinner at .82 in compared to the G'zone .9 in, and the same weight). The Rugby 3 is an AT&T phone and I don't like the styling much - heavier and thicker too. I did try out a Kyocera DuraXA plus - ebay purchase, tried it for a day with Verizon and didn't like it at all - Convoy 3 is thinner and lighter.

The Gusto's 1000 mAh battery didn't interest me too much, though that may change after I've used the Convoy 3 a while. 1000 mAh is not too much off from the G'zone Rock's 1050 mAh.

I've always liked the ruggedness of my milspec G'zone Rock as I've dropped it a few times, so the milspec phones interest me (Rugby and Convoy). Saw a video review of the Motorola Barrage and it's huge, the thickest at .93 in - not for me.

Hello, I am looking for new phone/plan. Considering these three phones currently.I know gusto cheapest.Which is recommended for most rugged dependable for basic use. Convoy is available with Verizon now.Is rugby better phone? Thank you for any comments on these 3,also comments on att or verizon.Thank you!
