Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can share your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data with the Samsung device.

1. Open iTunes on the computer
2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info”
4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
8. After the sync is complete, switch to the Samsung phone and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts form Your iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case your iPhone contacts are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file.

1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
4. Select the contacts you want to share
5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
6. After the vCard is downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
   
   • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
   • Connect the Samsung device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The two methods above require a computer with Internet access, however you can also transfer your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
2. Open the application and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
3. After the backup file is created, tap “Email”
4. Write a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
6. Switch to the Samsung device and open the email
7. Download the vCard attachment and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Transfer Contacts Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
3. Open the app on both smartphones
4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, select the desired transfer method on one of the smartphones, and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
