Back Up App Data:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Scroll to “Personal”
3. Tap “Backup & reset”
4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords, and settings to your Google backup account
5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or signing in with the Google backup account

Back Up Contacts:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
3. Select the account type and account you want to use for contact syncing
4. Enable “Contacts”
5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google backup account.

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

1. Connect the ZTE device to your computer via USB
2. Enable “Media device” / "File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the desired media files on the phone storage
5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

1. Connect the ZTE device to your computer via USB
2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the media file backups on the computer storage
5. Copy and transfer the files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
