    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Scroll to Personal
    3. Tap Backup & reset
    4. Enable Back up my data to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. Enable Automatic restore to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Make sure Contacts is checked
    5. Tap Menu > Sync now

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media files on the phone storage
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Micromax smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media file backups on the computer storage
    5. Transfer the files in the Media directory on the phone
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
