Share iPhone Contacts with Google via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data – including contacts – with the Android device.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Open iTunes on the computer
    3. Click the iPhone and access “Info
    4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
    7. After the sync is complete, switch to the Maxwest device and register the same Google account
    8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account
    4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
    6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
      • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
      • Connect the Maxwest device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

    Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup”. This will create a vCard file of your iPhone contacts
    3. Tap “Email” and ensure the vCard is attached
    4. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    5. Switch to the Android device and open the email
    6. Download the vCard attachment on the Maxwest phone and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

    Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Android device
    3. Launch the app on both smartphones
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
    5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
    6. Lastly select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
