    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data and settings to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and access “Accounts”
    3. Select the desired account type and account to sync contacts with
    4. Check “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: contacts backed up using this method can be restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Karbonn smartphone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Karbonn phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy and paste the backup files back on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory or the folders of origin
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
