    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with your backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the account to use for contact syncing
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is enabled
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you log in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or form the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC
    5. Copy and transfer the backup files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
