Transfer iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
2. Open iTunes on the computer and go to “Info”
3. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
4. Sign in with your Google account or click “configure” and select an existing account
5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard.

1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account
4. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
6. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
   
   • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts”, or:
   • Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
3. Once done, tap “Email”
4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
6. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
7. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, including contacts, without requiring a PC.

1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
2. Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
3. Launch the app on both devices
4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the transfer
