    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    3. Tap “Mobile networks”

    4. Disable the desired sync settings to reduce sync

    Minimize Third Party App Usage:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Apps”
    4. Select “All apps” from the drop-down menu at the top
    5. Tap the desired application
    6. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop”
    7. To remove the app from the device, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can include battery life improvements and as such it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Verify if a new update is available
    5. If applicable, follow the on-screen steps to download and apply the available update(s). NOTE: the update process will require at least one reboot
