Share iPhone Contacts with Google Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data with the Android device.

    1. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    2. Open iTunes on the computer
    3. Access “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
    4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
    5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
    6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
    7. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and sign in with the Google account if necessary
    8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the device

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

    1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
    2. Go to https://www.icloud.com/
    3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
    4. Select the contact you want to share
    5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
    6. Once the vCard has been downloaded, perform the following:
      • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
      • Connect the Android device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

    Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts via third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

    1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
    2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
    3. Once the vCard is done, tap “Email”
    4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
    5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
    6. Switch to the Android device and open the email
    7. Download the vCard email attachment and import its contents via “Contacts”

    Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party application you can use for sharing your iPhone contacts. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

    1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
    2. Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
    3. Open the app on both devices
    4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
    5. Select the desired transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
