Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
2. Open iTunes and click the iPhone
3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With”
4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu and sign in with your Google account. Alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account
5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
6. After the sync is done, switch to the Android device and log in with the same account used in iTunes
7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
5. After the vCard has been downloaded, perform one of the following:
   
   • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
   • Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your contacts
3. Once done, tap “Email”
4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
6. Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
7. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on iOS and Android. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform without requiring a computer.

1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
2. Install the same app on the Android device from the Play Store
3. Launch the app on both devices
4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts” and select the desired contact
5. Tap “Send” and choose a transfer method on one of the phones
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer
