Transfer iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
2. Launch iTunes on the computer
3. Click the iPhone and go to “Info”
4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
6. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
8. Once the sync is done, switch to the Android device and register the same account in iTunes
9. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: Assuming your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on Android OS.

1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
2. Go to https://www.icloud.com/
3. Log in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings”
5. Click “Export vCard” and wait for the file to be exported on the computer
6. Next, perform one of the following steps:
   
   • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
   • Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import the vCard to the phonebook using “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
3. Once done, tap “Email”
4. Compose a new email ensuring the vCard is attached
5. Send the email attachment to your own address
6. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
7. Use “Contacts” to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

1. Go to the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
2. Visit the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
3. Launch the app on both devices
4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
5. Select the desired contact and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
